Four Statements On Attention
Four Statements on Attention is a danced thesis on the art of paying attention in a time of endless distraction. In tandem with the paper Rehearsing Attention: Contemporary Dance as a Practice of Sustained Focus, this project served as my master’s degree thesis, in culmination of my studies at the Hunter Dance MFA Program. It was recognized with the Shuster Award for Outstanding Graduate Research in 2024, and subsequently featured at the La Mama Moves Dance Festival.
